Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of V1 Retreats’ services and website. By making a booking or accessing our site, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.
1. Definitions
- “We,” “our,” and “us” refer to V1 Retreats.
- “You” and “your” refer to the customer or website user.
- “Property” refers to the villa or accommodation you rent through us.
2. Role as an Agent
- 2.1 We act as an agent between you (the “Client”) and the villa owner or management company (the “Owner”). Your contract is directly with the Owner, and we facilitate the booking process on their behalf.
3. Booking & Payment
- 3.1 A booking is confirmed once a deposit, as specified at the time of booking, has been received.
- 3.2 Full payment must be received within the timeframe specified in your booking confirmation. Failure to pay may result in cancellation.
- 3.3 Prices stated on our website are indicative only. The final price will be confirmed after an enquiry and our formal offer to you.
- 3.4 Any additional charges (e.g., security deposits, cleaning fees) will be outlined before confirmation.
4. Cancellation & Amendments
- 4.1 Cancellations must be made in writing. Refunds are subject to the Owner’s cancellation policy.
- 4.2 Amendments to bookings are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
- 4.3 If the villa becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, we will seek alternative accommodation or refund your payment in full.
5. Security Deposit
- 5.1 A refundable security deposit may be required to cover damages or additional costs.
- 5.2 The deposit will be refunded upon satisfactory inspection of the villa after departure, minus any applicable deductions.
6. Property Representation & Changes
- 6.1 All photos and descriptions on our website are provided to give a realistic representation of the villa. However, minor differences may exist due to renovations, weathering, or decor updates, and we do not guarantee that every detail will exactly match the images provided.
- 6.2 We accept no liability for variations in the condition, appearance, or exact specifications of the villa.
- 6.3 Early check-in or late check-out requests may incur additional charges and are subject to availability.
7. Client Responsibilities
- 7.1 The Client must ensure proper use of the villa and adhere to the maximum occupancy limits.
- 7.2 The Client is responsible for any damage caused during their stay and must report any issues promptly.
- 7.3 No illegal activities, excessive noise, or disturbances are permitted.
- 7.4 The Client agrees not to approach the Owner directly for rebooking or future bookings. Any future bookings must be made through us, and violation of this term may result in legal action.
8. Owner Responsibilities
- 8.1 The Owner must provide the villa in a clean and habitable condition as described at the time of booking.
- 8.2 The Owner is responsible for ensuring essential utilities and services are in working order.
- 8.3 In case of major issues, the Owner must make reasonable efforts to resolve them promptly.
9. External Disturbances & Building Works
- 9.1 We are not responsible for any disturbances caused by construction work, road maintenance, or other activities taking place near the villa.
- 9.2 While we strive to inform Clients of any known building work in the area, this may not always be possible, and no compensation will be provided for any inconvenience caused by external factors beyond our control.
10. Liability & Disclaimers
- 10.1 We are not liable for any disputes, injuries, losses, or damages arising from your stay at the villa.
- 10.2 Any issues regarding the villa’s condition must be addressed directly with the Owner.
- 10.3 We do not accept liability for events beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions.
11. Travel Insurance
- 11.1 We strongly recommend Clients obtain travel insurance to cover cancellations, medical expenses, and other unforeseen circumstances.
12. Governing Law
- 12.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be resolved in UK courts.
